Chill to This: Ray LaMontagne

Back at work and got a case of the Mondays? Head over to NPR and check out Ray LaMontagne's 4th studio album "God Willin' and the Creek Don't Rise" before it's released tomorrow.

First impressions: this album has more of an across-the-board country feel than his previous work. It's a much more focused theme than 2008's varied "Gossip in the Grain". It's still Ray LaMontagne though, so expect an album to kick back and relax to. After all, if Ray can't chill you out, nothing will. Early high points are: New York City's Killing Me, Are We Really Through, & Like Rock & Roll Radio.

Or, if you're too lazy to click the link and listen to the whole thing, here's the album's closing track (it's the closest thing you'll find to a "rocker" on this album):
