Hyped as the second coming of The Band, these guys are more like Moldy Bread, minus anything resembling a vocal harmony. Their lyrics are obviously stolen from the Avett brothers' tour bus trash can. Sometimes a song is going to break into a bluesy Black Keys stomp, but then it meanders into some maudlin soft territory. Instead of wasting your time with this album, look for some live Burrito Brothers bootlegs.
