I don't know what to make of this song (except that it obviously sucks). I'm confused by my natural tendency to gravitate toward hair-metal, two-hand tapping, guitar shredding pop-rock and its awkward fusion with this bubble-gum girly pop song. Its disturbing.
Am I supposed to believe that this chick is actually playing lead on this song? How old is she? 16? 40? I can't tell.
Sadly, this is the most guitar-centric soloing I've seen on Mtv since Extreme's 3rd album in 1993 (yes, Extreme actually released a video from III Sides to Every Story).
Hang on for the solo at the 2:15 mark...it's the bright spot.

It's true. She's for real. I saw her on TV a few weeks ago. Weird and scary to us old guys, I know, but would Steve Vai play with her if she wasn't good? That question is not rhetorical. I honestly don't know...
