There is plenty of live music to choose from over the next few days, but a few highlights are Chatham County Line at the Casbah in Durham. They are doing two nights (Friday and Saturday) and if you don't have tickets, well, it's sold out. Saturday has Polvo at Kings while Kerbloki and Motor Skills hit the Local 506. Carbon Leaf is Friday at the Cradle, and Saturday features Holy Ghost Tent Revival. Friday at Motorco is some good ol fashioned rockabilly with The Straight 8's, Bo Stevens, and Thee Dirtybeats.
I'm sure there is more and more, but the idea is to get out and go support the bands. And bars.
There is also some sort of basketball tournament, so I hear.
