Super Bowl Isn't Only Big Game This Week

Yeah, the Super Bowl is Sunday, with the Pittsburgh Steelers going up against Green Bay Packers. Drink too much, eat too much. That's American!! But, while not trying to look past FSU on Sunday afternoon, there also happens to be the Super Bowl of Tobacco Road on Wednesday night with UNC and Dook going head to head at 9pm. It's going to be interesting for a couple of reasons. Duke (who I'm currently watching uncork a thunderous beat down on NC State) and UNC could be tied for the ACC lead, if UNC takes care of FSU. We'll also see how UNC is handling the recent quitting of junior point guard, Larry Drew. Drew,  having taken a beating in the media and by fans for the past two seasons, left the school Thursday without so much as letting anyone know. Keeping it classy, Drew. He had his daddy call coach Roy Williams to let him know that his son was no longer part of the program. Wow. Great timing, Drew family. Yada, yada, yada, everyone who cares has already read every message board, website, etc concerning this development, so there isn't much reason to rehash, but it does add more intrigue to the match up of Duke and UNC on Wednesday. Freshman Kendall Marshall will be making his first start in this series, and its at Duke.

Talk about baptism by fire.
