The House that Dirt Built is the Heavy's 2nd studio release. It came out last October, so it's not exactly a new release, but I've just discovered it recently. These guys are all over the place musically. Some songs sound like Rob Zombie produced a Big Bopper track, there's a little drunken Latin flair, some pseudo-reggae, and a heavy dose of James Brown funk.
Some of you may recognize this song from the Kia commercial with the sock-monkey riding the mechanical bull. How could you not dig that?
Anyway, the album has it's bright spots, but overall it's decent and fun, so give it a listen....if you want.
